Bill Terepocki

Bill Terepocki was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He passed away peacefully in Chilliwack on April 18, 2023, at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bill was born in Mission, B.C. to Steve and Louise Terepocki. He was raised primarily in the Mission area and on the Sunshine Coast.  Bill met the love of his life Inger in the Connaught Heights Church youth group.  They were married in August 1972 and settled in Langley.  Bill worked as a heavy-duty mechanic, welder and fabricator.  He was blessed with three children Chris, Lisa and Kari.  In 1991 the family moved to Abbotsford.

Bill was sadly pre-deceased by his daughter Lisa in December 2020.  He will be dearly missed by his wife Inger, children Chris (Cathy), his daughter Kari (Steven) and his son-in-law Chip.  He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Bob (Lindsay) and Jim (Cori), parents-in-law Magne and Kalma Hoff, brother-in-law Harry (Sue), sister-in-law Irene (Rob) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Bill was deeply invested in the lives of his grandchildren Dylan, Iris, Hazel, Ruthie, Olive, Ole, and Solomon. 

He leaves a legacy of a deep personal faith in God, caring for the less fortunate and a love of gathering people together.  Bill loved everyone and everyone loved Bill.  A special thank you to the Cascades Hospice staff and volunteers for their compassionate care for Bill during the last few weeks of his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 1:00 PM at Sardis Community Church.
