ARLENE TURNER

December 1940 – February 2023

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Arlene. She passed away at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital in Abbotsford, BC with family by her side.

She is survived by her husband of many years, Ken.  Her children Deanna (Cornell), Roger (Pam), Jodi (Shane), her stepchildren Mark (Charlene), Sharon (Dean), & Laurie (Larry). Her grandchildren, Shayna, Tabitha, Keith (Haruka), Corey, Kurtis (Mars), Michael, Tracey, Jordyn, Sydney, Shanda, Delaney, James, Nicole, and her great grandson, Kenta. Her two nieces, who she was very close to, Shelley and Wanda, her nephew Robbie, and her niece Rhonda. She is also survived by her dearest friends, Cathy, Naomi, Linda, Gwyn, and Helen. 

She was predeceased by her parents George and Irene, her brother George, and her daughter Tracey.

She was born and raised in Manitoba, and moved with her family to BC in the early 80’s. She spent her work career in the medical field, which suited her perfectly, as she was a very compassionate person. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She had a great love for music, writing, and enjoyed creating poems for her friends and family on their special milestones. She was loved by many, and will be deeply missed by all.

A special “thank you” to Dr. Martin, who had always been there for her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She will be interred in Manitoba.
