Berend "Ben" Steunenberg
January 8th, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved Husband, Father and Opa; Berend (Benny/Ben) Christoffel Steunenberg, aged 90, on Monday January 8th, 2024.
The sadness of his passing is overpowered by a wonderful legacy of love, generosity & faith.
His dying wish was for us to rejoice and so we choose to celebrate the life of Benny.
We rejoice that he passed away peacefully and content in his recliner at his home in Fort Langley, watching the snow fall, dreaming of travelling and surrounded by family.
He's survived by his wife of over 65 years, Greetje (Grace), his nine sons (Peter [Pamela], Herman, Bert [Judy], Stevenjohn [Shawna], Chris [Liz], David, Daniel [Brenda], Andrew [Darla], Mark [Christine]), (27) grandchildren and (19) great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his grandson Tainen [Daniel & Brenda] and his daughter-in-law Winona [David]
