It is with heavy hearts that we announce Lee's sudden passing on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Sturgeon Community Hospital, Edmonton, AB.
Lee was born in Calgary, AB, on August 7, 1969. Lee is survived by his son, Kye Archibald; and daughter, Grace Archibald; and his companion, Natasha Prokofieva; parents, Alfred (Ab) and Barbara Archibald; brother, Stephen Archibald; sister, Colleen (Jason) Robinson.
Lee will be remembered and forever loved as a proud father. His razor sharp wit and dry sense of humor will be missed by us all.
In his youth Lee was very athletic, enjoying many sports which included broomball, wrestling, bmx biking and of course hockey. His love for music was infinite. He taught himself to play guitar and enjoyed time jamming with his friends. Lee learned his trade as a drywaller from his father and his uncle in the family business. He was very much a perfectionist in his work and took pride in a job well done.
A celebration of Lee's Life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Royal Oak Victory Church in Calgary. Interment to follow at Claresholm Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his beloved Nan and Pop.

My condolences to everyone, Kye,Gracie, Alfred, Barbara, Steven, Colleen, Natasha, Lisa and all his friends ( I’m sorry if I missed anyone). His big laugh, his sense of humour (you burned him, he burned you, lol). A big thanks to Alfred and Barbara, you brought up a son with respect, great manors, the best work ethic, which he in turned taught everyone, thank you so much for that. With out that he wouldn’t have been the great soul he was. You’ve all been such a big part of his life, whether you know it or maybe not. He’s held you all in such high regard in his own way. Lee, you were like a brother, I’m gonna miss you buddy

Lee we has some good times when were younger. I remember going to your bedroom window to see if you wanted to hang out or go do something. I also remember being in the back of your car and you and Lisa in front, talking about life. I was sorta dosing and blurted out some random believe of life . For some reason you two thought it was pretty good. I just wish that I remember what is was .... I believe the last time I seen you ,but not the last time we spoke, was the David Wilcox in Halifax Good times . I'll miss you old buddy.
Ab, Barb, Colleen and Stephen, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I haven't been in touch with Lee for many years but always remember him fondly as a funny, fun-loving guy. My thoughts are with you in this very difficult time.
