Bob was one of my regulars at the C.K cafe on main in oxbow Saskatchewan a few years back, I grew up knowing him as baker bob as he owned a bakery in oxbow once upon a time! His cinnamon buns and bread were delicious if you ever had the treat of trying them! He was a jokester, a story teller, and very kind to people like me. I never had much growing up, bob watched me work hard for my money at a young age and he told me stories on how he tried similar ways, baking, grass cutting, anything to make a buck really. Bob gave me a bit of happiness on my sad hard working teenage days, I will remember him for bringing me some baking, always putting a smile on my face even when we’re both grumpy and having the courage to give a little girl hope even though he needed it more than she did. Thank you baker bob, my condolences to the family. ~ Christina Gervais
