It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ronald John (Ron) Lehr on April 28, 2020, at the age of 76 years, after a lengthy illness. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Diane, his son Kelly Lehr and daughter Rhonda (Lee) Walkey; three grandsons; Jared, Ashton and Kallen, and granddaughter Eden. Ron is survived by his sister Gladys Fletcher and brother Kelly (Donna) Lehr, and brothers-in-law John Kelly, Brian (Kay) Cruickshank, Clark Cruickshank, Robert (Betty) Cruickshank, Ken Cruickshank, Chris (Carolyn) Cruickshank and Phil (Wendy) Cruickshank. He was pre-deceased by his sister Joyce Kelly, sister-in-law Jan Cruickshank and grandson Sebastian Lehr. Ron was born in Cardston, AB, and his passions were camping, model trains and restoring hotrods - most recently a 1956 Ford pickup, “Pepe.” A celebration of life may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada at crohnsandcolitis.donarportal.ca

What an inspiration for all of us to try to follow, I shall forever miss the special phone calls from Ron to check on his older sister to make sure I was okay, we always shared some good laughs and just enjoyed the contact.
