Lottie Bernice Johnston

July 5th, 2011

Lottie has made Red Deer her home since 1954, it was here that she worked hard to raise her family.  She is a much beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, and Aunt who will be missed greatly by all those whose lives she touched. Lottie completed her education while working at Michener Centre in Red Deer, and it was here that she enjoyed a long and gratifying career working as a psychiatric nurse.  Retirement found a new passion for Lottie with her Tai Chi, which she thoroughly enjoyed along with her quilting and other volunteer activities.  Lottie was a long time member of the Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Westpark,  3628 - 57 Avenue, Red Deer.  Please join us there Friday, July 8, 2011  at 2:00 pm, to celebrate her life, she would have had her 86th birthday this July 15, 2011 but she is now at peace, and we will celebrate a full life lived instead. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 101, 6751 – 52 Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4K8 in Lottie’s name would be appreciated, no obligation.
