Messages:

I remember Aunty Jean as a lady... composed, kind heartedand often laughing at some of the silliness that occurred during our family gatherings. We always knew it would be a bit of a special celebration if AuntyJean and Uncle Scotty were going to be there...and it usually was. Thinking of you all and wish I could be there in person. Take care, Shauna

I would like to express my family's deepest sympathy in the passing of Auntie Jean. I think all of Spruce Cliff on 2nd Avenue knew her as Auntie Jean.I remember the times that Mom and Dad joined your family in the backyard for drinks and chit-chat. Auntie Jean looked after our cats when we went away. When the kittens were little they dug up all Auntie Jean's bedding out plants as she had used fish fertilizer. Mom wanted to replace the plants but Auntie Jean wouldn't hear of it.As Mom was unable the carve the turkey for my wedding rehearsal dinner, Auntie Jean did it. Auntie Jean was that special person that one never forgets. I know that she was special to everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. My most sincere condolences to Jim & Rose; Gloria & Don and families on the loss of your mother Jean. I regret that I did not have the opportunity to meet her. My mother (Doris Smith) spoke so often & fondly of Jean and I have a number of pictures of her & mom from years gone by. With warm hugs, Heather.
