Gordon passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Gordon was born at Calgary, AB but was raised in Lousana. He was the second of four children born to Gladys and Ted Green. As a boy he loved living in the small community of Lousana but enjoyed every opportunity he had to visit with family in the Midnapore area outside of Calgary. Gordon married Gladys Lee in 1949 and together they worked on their farm east of Lousana for over 50 years during which time they had three daughters. He loved caring for the many species of birds that were native to the area by maintaining blue bird trails, building hand crafted bird houses and putting out endless bags of seeds for them to eat. He and Gladys retired to the town of Lousana in 2000.
