Messages:

What a great guy Orval was! I worked with him in the operating room and prior to that I may have worked with him on the medical unit 3 North!! I did see him occasionally when he came in for dialysis. In 1985 we purchased the crib from the Patzers after their three kids were done with it and my two babies used it. I would have liked to attend the funeral but could not. My sympathy to you and God bless. joan skiba RN

My condolences to Garry and family. Rest in peace to your Dad.

Irene,Carol, Gary & Linda Elvine and I were so sorry to hear that Orval has passed away. While he suffered for numerous years, it still is a real " loss " when it actually happens. Now, we relate to Orval as a pleasant memory. Your personal memories are personal but mean so much to you. My memories of Orval goes back many many years ago, and those memories are indeed one person who was very stable, quite spoken and very dedicated to his duties at the church. He was very patient with my "Radical" ideas but still was a friend...a great friend. There is now a deep hole in your life Irene but your strength and dedication and commitment to God will indeed give you the strength to keep going.. It is hard to lose a father, Carol, Gary and Linda but the memories give us strength to keep going. Elvine and I are currently in Florida with our son and his three children and will not be back in time for the memorial service but our thoughts And prayers will be for you. God Bless
