She continued her love for art when she moved to Red Deer, and was an active member of the Red Deer Art Club for many years. Elise was always busy and also enjoyed golfing, gourmet cooking and gardening.  A gracious and generous woman, Elise loved to plan special events and celebrations for family and friends. She enjoyed many wonderful years living in the Okanagan, BC and spending winters in Yuma, Arizona. Elise leaves behind her loving husband, Glen Mathews, of 34 years; his children and their families. Elise will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her three  children, Sheree Kopp (Floyd) of Red Deer, Brenda Drummond of Red Deer and Guy Vincent (Sheri) of Glen Ewen, Saskatchewan. Elise was an incredible  "Mamere" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and they will cherish so many wonderful memories of her.
