Betty Johnson of Red Deer passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Red Deer Hospice on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the age of 74 years. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lynn Harrington, Kathy Wilson (Gary); her son, Darrell Johnson (Sheila); 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Norm; daughter, Brenda; one granddaughter; and one great granddaughter.
A Graveside Service was held at Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, AB on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm with a eulogy and tribute to immediately follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 35 at 2810 Bremner Ave., Red Deer, AB.
The family would like to send their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Red Deer Hospice not only for the care and attention they gave to Betty but to the family as well. Thank you for those that have sent in their condolences. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Betty’s memory to the Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, AB, T4R, 3S6
