Messages:
My deepest condolences to Lawrence and all the family. She will be remembered as my lovely crazy cousin, always fun always remembered.
I've know Carmen since I was a young teen and she was a huge part of our families circle of friends for many, many years in Pitt Meadows. I used to babysit her girls when they were just babes. Once you were a friend of Carmen's, you were a friend for life. She was a very good friend to my mother and when they had moved away from each other, their friendship still carried on over the miles and in-between visits with each other. Carmen loved her family and expressed much love for her girls and grandkids. Carmen, thank you for email support through our family troubles and your compassion over the last few years for our family. You will certainly missed by all who loved you and were lucky enough to call you "friend". Hugs to your family. xo
Our very Deepest Sympathy to you, Lawrence, and your family, in the passing of Carmen. We are glad we got to see you both last fall at Cipperley's Dam. We know that your music will help you fill some of the void in your life but you will certainly miss Carmen. Take care, and hope to see you soon.
Our condolences to you Lawrence and the whole family. We always had a great time watching the girls grow up in gym club and the enjoyment of the get togethers. We will miss you Carmen
From almost the very first day we met( at Curves) I liked this girl. She appeared shy at first but soon the warm softness showed through. Certainly there was genuine character & what a smile...sorry I didn't get to know Carmen better. My condolences to you who sorrow & grieve; indeed there's a hole in your world.
Lawrence and Family. Our deepest sympathy on the loss of a loving Wife, Mother, Grand Mother and Friend. Although you can't see her now, hold her in your hearts until you meet again. All your Friends at the Top O The Hill Golf course Senior's League, Sylvan Lake Senior Centre. God Bless, sending prayers for you all. Millie Little Sylvan Lake Alberta.
Carmen was my nursing classmate from years ago, as well as my house mate in Trail, B.C during our first job together. She always had such a ready laugh, a willingness to help and a real sense of loyalty to her friends and family. Because of distance we did not see each other often during the years but she will always have a special place in my heart and memories. Joan
Carmen was such a caring, kind, loving and compassionate person. We are truly blessed to call her our friend. We have so many wonderful memories with her including many laughs around the table playing games and cards. Our last journey together was our wine tour in B.C. last fall, visiting 15 winery's in 3 days! We are so glad we were able to do this with Carmen. She will truly be missed by us and our family. Love you Carmen!
I worked with Carmen at ASH Red Deer. I almost accepted Nursing with her but ended up going to school in Hamilton Ontario. I have a couple photos from our days in Red Deer when 3 of us took our charges on an outing at the Red Deer Fair. So long ago summer 1966!but not forgotten and finally learn here she did her nursing and lived her dream. RIP Gloria
