March 31, 1926 – May 6, 2016

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Leslie Trigg of Lacombe, formerly of Tees, AB on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the age of 90 years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his faithful & loving wife of 62 years, Frances; daughters, Cindy, Faye (Leo) Raymaakers, and Carolyn (Bill) Leask; sons, Bob (Robin) and Don (Karen); 22 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Georgia (Lloyd) Hansen; sisters-in-law, Myrna Trigg and Eileen Trigg; and brother-in-law, John (Alva) Kaster.

Les & Frances moved to the Tees area in 1955 where they farmed until they retired to Lacombe in 2011. His pride & joy were his cattle & he never lost his interest in them. Besides farming, Les had a few other jobs over the years. He worked at the Red Deer Auction Mart, sold spin dryers, cleared brush from the roadsides, and sold Bestline cleaning products. Les was a community minded person. He was involved in the Tees Community Club, Nebraska 4-H Club, Lacombe 4-H District Council, Alberta Provincial 4-H Council, Tees Cemetery Committee, just to name a few.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Clive Baptist Church, 4716 – 50 Street, Clive, AB on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Les’ memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1400 – 522 University Avenue, Toronto, ON, M5G 2R5 or S.T.A.R.S., 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7.

Hello Frances, Cindy, Faye, Carolyn, Bob & Don, I just learned tonight of Les' passing and felt immediately that I wanted to express my condolences to you all. Les was such a good and very kind man. My mom, Teddy thought the world of him. Frances, you and Les were always so good to her! We appreciated all you did. My family's thoughts and prayers are now with you. May he rest in peace.
