Sherry Lynn Chilton of Red Deer, AB passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 59. Sherry was born in Kaslo, BC on September 15, 1957 and moved to Yellowknife, NWT where she completed her nursing degree in 1982. From there she moved to Red Deer, AB where she worked as an LPN at the Red Deer Regional Hospital until 1997. Sherry loved to volunteer and had volunteered with such organizations as The Boys & Girls Club of Red Deer, Girl Guides of Canada, McDonald's McHappy Day and the Alberta Youth Justice Program. She enjoyed reading, camping and spending time with her friends.
Sherry is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jocelyn Chilton of Red Deer, AB; son, Jason Atkinson of Edmonton AB; granddaughter, Peyton Chilton of Calgary AB; brothers, Terry and Clyde Bone of Lloydminster, AB; brother, Dale Bone of Campbell River, BC; as well as step siblings and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin (Bert) and Edna Bone; brother, Randy Bone and sister, Melody Bone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sherry’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Canada, 111 West Campus Place NW, Calgary, AB, T3B 2R6.

Sherry I miss you so much already. You had a beautiful soul and would do anything for the people you loved. I miss your bright smile and hearing your beautiful contagious laugh. Sherry rest in peace. We were very happy to have met you. We worked together at Busters pizza and it was a lot of fun. We used to meet at Tim Hortons and have coffee for visits it was great. You will be missed my friend big hugs and love from Gene and Carmen Nunn
