FULLERTON, Darcy Donald
November 4, 1975 - December 26, 2017

Darcy Fullerton was born in Olds, AB on November 4, 1975. His family moved to Sylvan Lake three years later. Growing up in Sylvan Lake, Darcy had many friends that he loved like brothers. Darcy had an ability to love people so naturally and whole heartedly. He never held back his affection from anyone. This is how he won over his wife, Mandi. Darcy and Mandi met when they were young and married June 30, 2001. They had two beautiful boys, Elijah and Solomon, who he could never get enough of. His entire life became about those boys whether it was camping, biking, fishing, wrestling, skiing, tobogganing, hunting, swimming - whatever he could do with those kids, he did it at every opportunity. He was the most involved father and dedicated husband. He leaves behind a huge hole in the lives of so many.

He leaves behind his wife, Mandi; his boys; Elijah and Solomon; his parents, Trudy and Bev; brother, Jason; sister-in-law, Aura; his two amazing nieces, Zeya and Hunter and his sister, Kristen Moore.

Darcy had many passions and was always eager to share them. From Worship leading to motor biking. He made many contributions to the community both in a large way from Shake the Lake to helping someone in need that he happened to be driving by.

Darcy had amazing faith and devotion to God. God had revealed Himself in a dramatic way in a dream he had in Mexico in 2000. Shortly after, he was saved during an Alpha course he attended. From that point on he dedicated himself to studying the word of God and seeking a close and personal relationship with him.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Sylvan Lake Gospel Chapel on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darcy’s memory to:

Sylvan Lake Gospel Chapel, 4290 – 50 Street, Sylvan Lake, AB, T4S 0H3

Messages:

I was very sad to hear of the news about Darcy. He was an extremely genuine, caring and loving person. The world is without a very special person. He will be very missed. We had more fun at Whitefish skiing then we did playing hockey for the sylvan lake Mustangs. Especially the accommodation in Fernie. The tournament we annually played in.

My deepest sympathy to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all..
