Dear Dawn and family; We are so sorry to hear of the passing of a great man, George who we proudly say both he and Dawn extended their warmth, wisdom, humour, happiness and hospitality to us and others. On behalf of the McNeil's (Evelyn, Sylvia, Marilyn, Ron and Cheryl) and the Rodvang's (Tom, Anna and Joan) we are so glad to have shared times with you through the years and generations. Our sincere condolences to you in this time of sorrow.

Dear Dawn, Barbara,Beverly,Valerie, Garth and all of the extended family of George. Although Jean and I are saddened by the passing of our very long time family friend, we give thanks for having him ( and Dawn ) in our lives for such a length of time. Speaking not only for our selves, But Jeans parents Will and Clarice Sinclair as well. Although the Sinclair’s have both been gone for considerable time, there was a long period in their lives that was very close, it went back to very early days in the Rocky community. For ourselves, it began in the early seventies as chuch family with the Philips at Memorial Presbyterian. Jean and I both served as elders with George at one time. Going back before that, I served with both Will and George on the Session. George and Will served as public school trustees together, the 13 and half years George served, were all with his friend Will. Jean and I will never forget the act of kindness with food and support to our families when Bill Sinclair, son and my brother in law passed at a much too young age in Jan1999. George and Dawn were at our sides in a big way, and it has not been forgotten. Over the years, George, would always recall with pleasant memories of the yearly church camp outs on the Kootney Plains. He often talked about those happy times! For myself, over many decades, in the course of my employment checking our gas utility equipment at the Philips farm, I was a invited guest for coffee at the Philips kitchen numerous times. These are but a few of my thoughts, there are many more! In closing, so fitting of Last request by George at his passing, it was the kind of life he lived. Good Bye old friend Stewart

So many fond memories of this dear, kind man! Even when most of our visits took place at the hospital. Especially cherished memories of the friendship he and my dad, Will Sinclair shared. So sorry for your loss, to Dawn and the entire family. He left you an amazing legacy!
