Robert John Morison

Robert John Morison went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the age of 69 years.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his wife Sylvia, daughters, Kim (Nolan), & Crystal (Rob) as well as Sylvia’s children Greig (Ashley) and Lee (Sean); four granddaughters Amy, Anna, Sadie and Piper; three grandsons Landon, Kale and Cole; brother Kenneth (Virginia), sister Irene, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Robert was predeceased by his first wife Pearl, his parents John and Margaret Morison and brother-in-law.
Robert was a life-long member of the communities of Spruce View, Dickson, Innisfail and Caroline. He was always one to step to the table when asked to volunteer or help at any function.
A Memorial Services was held at the Innisfail Legion on Friday, September 7, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 4716 – 50 Ave, Innisfail, AB, T4G 1N1 or Red Deer Hospice, 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, AB, T4R 3S6.

Sylvia, Crystal and the rest of the Morison clan, Billy and I were saddened to hear the news. We have many fond memories of Robert (and Crystal and Sylvia) when we played music together in Red Deer. Our condolences to you all.

We cannot find the words to tell you how sad we are at Robert’s passing. From the first time we met him , we knew he was a wonderful friend. Our very Deepest Sympathy to you, Sylvia the Morrison families. I loved his talent playing the pipes and carrying on all Scottish traditions. He helped my grandson, Tyler Dowell , when he was learning the pipes. He will be greatly missed by his Church and Community.
