Bob and his brothers were involved in the scouting movement and he took great pride in receiving the level of Queen Scout.

Bob leaves to mourn his loss his wife Diane, children Jim, Mary Jean (Greg) Elliot, and Ann (Sean Ramage) Nelson.  His beloved grand-children Taylor Nelson, Melissa, Donna and Mathew Elliot; Justin Belitsky and Lilly Ramage.  He is also survived by his mother Mary Nelson;his siblings and in-laws, Barbara (Gary) Lawrence, Bill (Barbara) Nelson, David (Debra) Nelson, Doug Nelson, and Kathy (Ian) Nelson-Campbell; Edmund (Cheryl)Taylor. He leaves 10 nieces and and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.  He also leaves uncles and aunts:  Robert (Iyla) Brewster, Lorna Sinclair, Melva Brewster, Betty Brewster, Albert (Michele) Brewster, Betty Matheson, and Emma Nelson.

Messages:

I appreciated the simplicity of the words he choose. He gave me insight into my cat having her own consequences for climbing too high up a tree: the magpies came in & dive bombed her. He carried his cigarettes in his shirt, the same way my Dad did. He was gentle and I liked him for that.

So very sorry for your loss Diana Bob was a wonderful person very helpful and kind God Bless you

I am so sorry for your loss Diane, prayers for you and your family

My sincere condolences to you and your family Diane. I know how much you loved Bob and how you will miss him. He always had a pleasant smile and hello whenever I saw him @ Tim's. So sorry to hear of his passing. Keeping you close in prayer. Elaine Quinn

So sorry for your loss.

I only knew Bob from the Dawe swimming pool. He was always good for a little chat. It is too bad that he did not get a lot more years of retirement. My condolences to the family.
