Karen passed away peacefully after a long battle with COPD on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the age of 82 years. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Harvey of 60 years; her children, Darren (Linda) Stanvick of Penticton, BC, Brenda Stanvick of Red Deer, AB and Krista (Dan) Woolf of Sylvan Lake, AB; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Eileen Bantjes and sister-in-law, Evelyn Olstad; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Karen was predeceased by her brother, Bevan; and sisters, Ione and Irma. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Karen’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.Messages:
