ROBERTS, Barry James

April 19, 1954 – January 24, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barry James Roberts on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the age of 68. Barry was born April 19, 1954, to Howard and Agnes Roberts. He lived in Cadillac, Saskatchewan until attending university in Regina.

Barry was loved deeply by his grandparents, and they played a significant role in his early life. Barry was a man of many talents, who wore many hats in his rich and vibrant life. Farmer, teacher, mentor, and self-employed renovator; Barry was adept at displaying his love and compassion for others through acts of service. His main passions in life were teaching and assisting others by bringing harmony and sacredness into their spaces through home renovations. Barry had some ups and downs in life and graciously rolled with the flow of life. He was always determined to become a better version of himself and was part of many spiritual groups throughout his life. If you needed help, he would drop everything to do what needed to be done. Unless, of course, he was already busy helping someone else! A gentle but fierce spirit, he wore his heart on his sleeve and was a deeply spiritual man with a sharpness of wit that was often unparalleled.

Barry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Louise Roberts; and their, daughter Chelsey Roberts; his siblings, Lyle Roberts and Shirley Hart. He is predeceased by his little sister, Lois. Barry leaves behind numerous friends and family who will continue to cherish his warmth, wisdom and vivacious humor, in remembrance of his life.
