Eileen Marie Barber (Gray), late of Southey, SK passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK at the age of 87 years. She is predeceased by her parents Ted and Irma Greer; first husband and father of her children Ken Gray; her second husband Dick Barber; four brothers; one grandson and one great-grandson. She is survived by her daughters Jackie Gray, Laurie Ennis, Connie (Russ) Lillejord; son Barry (Karen) Gray; sister Sharon; three sisters-in-law as well as ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Alport and staff on 4B for the amazing care during her final days. Also to NP Leland Sommers for going over and above for Mom for the last 5 years.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Southey, SK.
Upon Eileen's request, memorial donations in her name can be made to Southey Library. For tax receipt make check payable to Town of Southey, Box 447, Southey, SK S0G 4P0 (library donation).
Gray Families, So sorry to read about your Mom. I have lots of good memories of time spent in the Gray household while growing up. I always loved when Connie had her birthday party and Eileen put money in the cake! I'm thinking of you all.
