Chastity Lyn Bell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Dear Chastity Lyn Bell on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Regina, SK at the age of 32 years. She was our constant source of joy with her bubbling, no-nonsense personality, and sudden outbursts of laughter that filled our hearts with overflowing love and joy. She was our rock and our warrior. Anyone who knew anything about Chastity knows how she very much loved all animals, but most especially her fur baby, “Doodle”. She lived life spontaneously, free, and on her terms until the end.
Chastity was predeceased by her father Brian Bell; grandfather Vernon Solie; sister Raelene Bennett (Bell); cousin David Bercier; great-grandparents Carl and Gladys Offet.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother Wendy Marr and step-father Paul Marr; sisters Katrina Bell (Dylan Shell), Nicole Bell and Jynell Marr; brother Joel Bell (Valentina Vrska); grandmother Sharon Solie; her Special Aunty Candy Turner and Uncle Warren Solie and her special nieces Nevaeh and Kiah. There are aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to mention as well as her Nova Scotia family who lovingly named her their Viking Princess.
A special private gathering for immediate family and closest friends will be held in her honour.
In lieu of flowers, if anyone so desires, donations may be made to any Domestic Violence organizations, woman’s shelters, or animal rescue of your choice.
We would like to thank everyone for all of their love and support with a special thanks to Rick and Suzanne Brown and Family for all of your help during these trying times.

Chas was a kind hearted person, she truly left a mark at glasco hall with the work she did as a CCA. She was beyond caring and empathetic. She touched the lives of those she cared for everyday. She kept the residents laughing and dancing daily. Chas always lit up any room she walked into. We miss her dearly. Love and peaters sent to family and friends at this difficult time.

Sad to hear about this, I was friends with Chas in highschool, we always seemed to have each others back. Lots of good memories. Sorry Katrina keep strong.

My heart breaks for the family. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I was Chass’ tall lurch friend but some how she became my protector. Always there for me and at one point saving my life. We were young and full of knowing it all! She reached out to me two years ago and we had been keeping in touch via Facebook. Talking and laughing about old times. I will never forget her and her memory will live on forever. She was special in so many ways. Prayers and live to all that knew her best.

My deepest condolences to the family, I worked with Chastity, and she was a free spirit but kind heart, in one occasion a patient wasn’t eating supper because she didn’t want institution food, Chastity ask what would you like to eat? Resident said, hamburger from Houston pizza,,, she offered to pick it up on her coffee break and really enjoyed her burger and fries.

I am so sorry for you, in particular Wendy, Sharon and uncle Warren! My memories of Chastity are of a bright little girl in my class at Minton who was always writing stories and little love notes to her Teacher. She will be missed. I am so glad that I recently met Chastity after all those many years and saw what a beautiful girl she turned out to be. So Sad!
My condolences to all the family. Chasity and I went to school together and spent endless hours hanging out until I moved back east with my family. She was always there for her friends. She walked me all the way to the air port just her and I when I left. It didn’t bother her that she had to head home alone afterwards, she just wanted to make sure she saw me off. She will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Wendy, Sharon, and Katrina, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I have dear memories of all of our playtime as children. May she rest easy.
