Henry Owen Farmer

August 1st, 2018

Henry Owen Farmer was born on October 1, 1934 in Moose Jaw, SK and died on August 1, 2018. He attended King George Elementary and graduated high school from Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw. He served in the militia, enjoyed skydiving, and was a member of the Free Masons. Henry eventually moved to Regina where he retired from Canada Post in 2003 after nearly 30 years of service. He graciously donated countless hours volunteering with the CNIB, Lions Club, and Regina Lions Band organizations over the years.

Henry was predeceased by his parents Henry James and Gwendolyn Emily and his younger sister Carol. He will be deeply missed by his sisters Emily (late Keld) and Barbara (John); his children Douglas (Susan), Nancy (Rick), David and Michael; grandchildren Andie, Lesley, Owen, Bryanna (Mike), Desiree (Shawn), Owen and Sarah; great-grandchildren Mya, Scarlett, Reid, Keaton and Aliyah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Henry’s wishes for leaving this life were simple and for that reason no funeral service will be held. Instead, reach out to a friend or family member you haven’t talked to in a while and say hello. Tomorrow isn’t promised.
