Messages:

I had the privilege to meet Don. He was sensitive gentle and kind. I have so much respect for him. I was glad we were able to catch up on the phone last March. And for me to be able to say Thank you for your kindness. My sincere condolence Lois and family.

Lois and family, Sending your family our deepest sympathy from my father (Dick) and I. Don was an amazing photographer and a very nice person. Dad always thought highly of Don.

Dear Lois and family, My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Sending my deepest sympathy to Lois and family. I regret that I’m unable to be with you at this time of sorrow. I share in your bereavement. I am currently in Pasqua hospital recovering from a fractured hip. Sincerely Lloyd Macknak. rysjgv

Our deepest sympathy to Margo, Verne and Nash on the loss of their loved one.

We always thought of Don as one of the family. He was always so good to Mom (Bonnie) and Dad. We'll miss him tremendously. George, Patti Grassick

Don and Lois were both dear friends of my parents, Ron and Betty. Lois, our family always enjoyed visiting with you both whenever you were at our home. I remember that Don had a wonderful sense of humour and a dry wit. He was a very talented photographer, and we asked him to take the pictures for our wedding (of course, he did an excellent job!). There is no time on Earth that is ever enough to spend with someone we love so deeply; may special memories of happy times bring your entire family comfort at this difficult time. Take time to share stories, laugh together, and celebrate a life well lived. God Bless... Joyce, Pat, Kyle & Kevin Dudley

I’ve had the honour and privilege to know Don for the past 20+ years as part of my extended family. A finer, kinder, more generous man I have never met. I will miss his kind, gentle nature and his presence at family gatherings. Thoughts of love and deepest sympathy to Lois, Margo, Mark, Ross and Jon, and their families! ❤️

I had the honour of working with Don at a local print shop many years ago and always enjoyed his approach to life. A professional and committed family man was Don. He will be missed.
