It is with great sadness that the family of Marian Gladys Jorgensen announces her passing on May 28, 2020 at the Regina Pasqua Hospital with one of her granddaughters by her side.
Marian was born on the farm near Dubuc, SK on June 13, 1928. She was predeceased by her parents Edward Sprowle and Alice Sprowle (nee Dockin) and by her husband Harry Jorgensen.
Marian is survived by her daughters Leslie (Ferris) and Wendy; her grandchildren Nancy (Jim), Donna (Todd), Shelley (Troy), Lisa, Dion and Lorraine; and her great-grandchildren Michaela, Wyatt, Andrew, Rachel and Lindsey.
Marian and her loving husband Harry farmed by Alida, SK and raised their two daughters Leslie and Wendy. Marian was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was a hard worker on the farm, a fantastic gardener, cook, baker, homemaker, crafter, seamstress, card player and a dedicated volunteer. She was a remarkable woman with a strong sense of family and dedicated her life in caring for them and being a wonderful mentor to all of her loved ones. Marian was one of the strongest and most remarkable women that never backed down to a challenge. She loved spoiling her family and always lending a hand. Marian and Harry loved dancing, travelling, camping trips, auction sales, and having fun with friends and family. They both showed remarkable love and dedication to their family and friends and were always there to lend a hand.
Marian will be remembered and missed by her family for all the cherished memories that they all have and the important and positive influence she had on all of their lives. She is now with her true love dancing in heaven.
No service will be held as per Marian’s wishes.
