Shane Lee Seib
December 15th, 1959 ~ May 27th, 2021
Shane was born in Cabri, SK on December 15, 1959. He suddenly passed away on May 27, 2021 at the age of 61 with his best friend, Joanne, by his side.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Bert and Eleanor Seib, John and Jean Snider; his mother Joan Burns; and his brothers Dwayne and Trevor Seib. Shane is survived by his parents Doug and Maxine Seib of Regina, SK, Alexander Burns of Calgary, AB; father and mother-in-law Syl and Olga Michaluk of Regina, SK; brother Lance Seib (Judy) of Brandon, MB; spouse Joanne Kletchko of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK; daughters Lisa Seib (Chad) and soon-to-be grandson Leslee Seib (Steve) of Ucluelet, BC; children Nick Kletchko (Jen) of Regina, SK, Adam Kletchko (Amanda) of Regina, SK, Karla Holzer (Dylan) of Regina, SK and his precious grandchildren William, Victoria, Madison and Veronica, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Shane grew up in Regina, SK and spent a lot of his time in Lipton, SK with his grandparents. In his early adult years he was a skilled finishing carpenter and loved to dabble in architecture and home design. He went on to become a proficient facilities and property manager and a great leader whom many looked up to. Shane always stressed the importance that it wasn’t what you said, it wasn’t what you did, it was how you made people feel. He got to spend his later years back with his roots in the Valley working locally, volunteering and relaxing.
Shane was a “jack of all trades” and your go-to-guy for everything. He loved glamping with his family, watching and attending Nascar races, learning from YouTube videos and voicing his opinions and providing advice.
He will be remembered for all of his involvement in the community, especially through all of his work with the Lion’s Club. He left his family with countless memories to reminisce about and he was the glue for getting the family together. Everyone will miss hearing his stories over a good meal.
A Celebration of Shane’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Shane can be made to the Lion’s Club of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK.

I knew Shane as my boss at the Regina Inn. He got me started on my career as a maintenance engineer. Shane was the kind of fellow that always believed in giving someone a second chance and to prove themselves. He was always ready and available to provide hands on guidance. I remember alot about of the parties we had at the Hotel and the funny stories he would tell. My condolences to the family. Rest in peace Shane
