Christine Adams
September 28th, 2022
Short two months of her 103rd birthday, we say goodbye to our cherished mother and grandmother, Christine. She will forever live in our hearts and we take peace in knowing her wish came true - to be reunited with those waiting for her in Heaven. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Carl, infant son and her siblings. Here to keep her memory close are daughter Joan, daughter Shirley (Lyle), grandson Jerred (Renee) and great-granddaughter Alexis, granddaughter Kirsten, many dear relatives and friends made along the way.
Christine (known as Tina to relatives) was born on the farm outside of Melville, SK in Sec 02, TWP 22, Rge 06, W2. The youngest of eight, she loved the rural farm life and would have stayed there all her life if she had been given the choice. She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother, was a busy homemaker, avid bowler and gardener. Christine’s strong faith and being active in the church was with her throughout her whole life; that strength carried her through in being a cancer survivor twice over. In her adult years she worked for Sears, enjoyed her garden and flowers, taking long walks, visiting with those who stopped in for coffee or simply being outside by herself in the peace and calm. Christine spent 19 years at Benson Manor before moving to Qu’Appelle House for almost one year. A special thank you is extended to Bev and her caring staff at Qu’Appelle House and to the kind staff in Palliative Care at the Regina Pasqua Hospital.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in early October, 2022. In lieu of flowers, family and friends who wish to do so are welcome to send a memorial donation to Qu’Appelle House or Christ Lutheran Church, both in Regina, SK.

So sorry for your loss .Such wonderful Memories of meeting her a wonderful Lady. Prayers are with you all.
I am very sad to read this obituary. My heart goes out to her family. She and mum only got to know each other for a couple of months in QuAppelle house before my mum died. I did have the pleasure of visiting with her as I volunteered last winter to screen visitors. She was so bright and lively and I loved her attitude of life.May she Rest In Peace after a long life. No matter how long we have them on this earth it’s never long enough. Take care as you go through the emotions of grief.

Sorry for your loss. I don’t believe I had the honour of meeting her. May we be nearly as lucky as her lasting to 103.
Our deepest condolences to each of you. Praying the peace that passes understanding will be with you all as you grieve.
My sincere condolences to all the family. I think of her often and fondly remember her at her 100th Birthday Party. It was such a joyous event. She joined the young people singing German and was so happy. She was special.
