Messages:
I met Derek in Venezuela in 2016 and since then we became very close friends. He was kind, gentle, happy, loved to chat and was always thirsty of knowledge. He loved to know about Latin america and his people, and we always spoke about that. I will never forget the tours I had to give to him around my city so he could learn how to use the public transportation. That's how Derek was: humild, outgoing, expresive, good-hearted, always concerned about others. Rest in peace my friend. You will always have a special place in my heart. My condolences to his family and friends ¡Vuelta alto amigo!
Our sincerest condolences to Paul, Kathie and family. Derek was a wonderful gentleman, aways in jovial spirits as we remember him. May he rest in eternal peace. Amen.
