It is with great sadness after a 4 month long hospital visit that we announce the passing of our beloved father Doug.

Douglas is predeceased by his parents Stanley & Helen Robb; Sisters Judy Robb and Marianne Robb. He is survived by his children Jennifer (Ian) Olson, Douglas Robb Jr, and Cindy (Craig) Hutchison; Grandchildren Kolby Nant, Brooklynn Nant, Ainsley, Cassie & Jordyn Robb, Bailey & Peighton Hutchison as well as great granddaughter Harlow Nant. Douglas is also survived by his sisters Pat Robb (Dave), Jayne Rayner & Bonnie (Derek) Ellis, along with all other family members.

For those who knew our dad, he had a hard shell, was quite opinionated and was always right. Under that shell was a softhearted and caring man. His love for his family was always there. Growing up you always found him at work at Safeway or in the bowling alley, and finally, at the ball diamond behind the plate calling balls and strikes. Ask Cindy and Jennifer how much we loved that, LOL!

Our dad might have been tough and grumpy, but he was always there to support us in our endeavors. A great coach on the bowling alley lanes. He will be forever loved and missed by his family.

Dad, you started this journey in the hospital in April, you were tested and diagnosed and fought through until you couldn't fight any longer.

Like the wind, the years went by. Precious butterfly spread your wings, fly and be free! Remember the butterfly kisses Daddy. Don't cry, we will be fine. Love you! Till we meet again.
